Kerala Lottery Result - Cookie Policy

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device, computer, tablet, or smartphone, when you visit. They help sites function efficiently and remember preferences between sessions. Each cookie is domain-specific, meaning a cookie set by kerala-lottery-result.org cannot be accessed by unrelated platforms such as PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM.

Cookies fall into two broad categories. Session cookies expire the moment you close your browser and are used for actions like preserving your consent choice during a single visit. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a fixed period, typically 30 days to 24 months, and help us recognise returning visitors without storing personally identifiable information. Third-party cookies, set by services such as Google Analytics, are governed by those providers' own privacy policies, not by this Site.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for four purposes. Strictly necessary cookies store your consent preference so the cookie banner does not reappear on every page. Performance cookies, via Google Analytics 4, collect anonymised metrics such as page views, average session duration, and device type; in a typical 30-day period this helps us detect, for example, whether users on budget Android handsets load result pages more slowly than desktop users, guiding our optimisation priorities.

Functionality cookies remember lightweight preferences such as your chosen draw district, for instance, Ernakulam vs. Kozhikode, so relevant results appear first on return visits. Advertising cookies placed by our ad-network partners serve contextually relevant ads and may use cross-site signals to limit repetition. We do not use cookie data to process payments, hold funds, or manage user accounts; kerala-lottery-result.org is an information-only site and performs none of those functions.

Managing cookie preferences

Most browsers give you direct control over cookies. In Google Chrome, the most-used browser on Indian smartphones, go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data to block third-party cookies, clear stored cookies, or allow only first-party cookies. Mozilla Firefox offers a comparable panel under Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection, with Standard, Strict, and Custom presets. Safari on iOS, common among users of Apple Pay-linked devices, includes cookie controls under Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.

If you also use payment apps such as PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM alongside this browser, note that those are entirely separate applications. Clearing cookies on your browser has no effect on data stored within those apps. Similarly, Kerala Lottery Result, the official draw operator, which is not affiliated with this Site, may set its own cookies on its government portal; you must manage those on that separate site.

You may also use browser extensions such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger for granular, per-domain cookie control without navigating settings menus. Disabling all cookies on this Site may reset your region preference or consent choice on each visit, but it will not affect your ability to read the lottery result information we publish.
